BNN arrests Bos Gendut, owner of 98 kg of meth in Kampung Bahari
BNN also seizes Rp1,27 miliar in cash and is tracing about Rp39,5 miliar in suspected money-laundering assets, with two loyalists detained.
BNN arrested MR, alias Bos Gendut, a narcotics fugitive from 7 November 2025 who was said to control drug distribution in Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta. BNN Director of Enforcement and Pursuit Roy Hardi Siahaan said MR was followed as he left Kampung Bahari for Mangga Besar, then was arrested at a beauty salon on Wednesday night. In the case development, BNN said MR was linked to possession of 98 kilograms of meth, along with the seizure of a firearm, gold bars, samurai swords, bullets, and other evidence. BNN also seized Rp1,27 miliar in cash and is tracing assets from suspected money laundering worth around Rp39,5 miliar. After the interrogation, BNN and Polda Metro Jaya raided Kampung Bahari and detained two MR loyalists; one police officer was injured under the eye during the operation.
