BNI funds Waroeng Padang Lapek expansion to Amsterdam in 2026
Extra 2025 credit will buy a central kitchen property in Den Haag that Waroeng Padang Lapek had previously rented.
BNI is financing the expansion of Waroeng Padang Lapek, an Indonesian restaurant run by the diaspora in Den Haag, the Netherlands, as it prepares to open a branch in Amsterdam in 2026. The additional credit facility in 2025 will be used to buy the central kitchen property at Mercuriusweg 70, Den Haag, which had previously been rented. The facility serves as a production and distribution center to maintain consistent quality and operational efficiency. Waroeng Padang Lapek, founded by Suprapti on 3 October 2019 at Schoolstraat 26, Den Haag, serves Minangkabau dishes such as rendang, gulai tunjang, paru balado, gulai jengkol and kue lupis. The Amsterdam branch is now under renovation. If it begins operating, the business will have one central kitchen and two restaurants in Den Haag and Amsterdam.
