Bloomberg highlights Pandu Sjahrir’s minority stake in Supra Sekuritas

The report links Supra to an OJK case over DSSA transactions, but does not say Pandu was involved in any violation.

Bloomberg reported that Danantara Indonesia Chief Investment Officer Pandu Sjahrir holds an indirect minority stake in PT Supra Sekuritas Indonesia through PT Asha Artha Sehati. Citing company registration data, Bloomberg said Asha Artha Sehati controls 27.5 percent of Supra, while the remaining 72.5 percent is owned by a company controlled by Yonggi Tanuwidjaja. A spokesman for Pandu said the investment is personal and passive, and that Pandu is not involved in the brokerage firm’s operations, trading or compliance decisions. The report also linked Supra to one of the entities sanctioned by OJK in the case involving DSSA, BREN and CUAN shares, with total fines of Rp 2.1 trillion. Bloomberg said there was no indication Pandu knew about the trading activity or profited from it.
