Beam Artistes founder Samuel Seow dies at 53 in Johor Bahru

Samuel Seow, the former entertainment lawyer who founded Singapore talent agency Beam Artistes, died on July 25 at age 53. A statement from a family friend, cited by Singapore media, said he died peacefully in his sleep and that an attending doctor identified the cause as a heart attack. His family was in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, handling arrangements. Seow launched Beam Artistes in 2010 and built it around talent management, branding and male pageants including Mr World Singapore, Mister International and Manhunt Singapore. He was disbarred in 2022 and later jailed for four weeks and fined after cases involving abuse of female employees in 2018.
