Bank BSN channels Rp1.4 trillion in financing to Pegadaian
The funds will bolster liquidity, expand sharia financing and integrate Pegadaian’s Tabungan Emas into Bale Syariah.
PT Bank Syariah Nasional provided a Rp1,4 trillion working-capital financing facility to PT Pegadaian in Jakarta on Monday (8/6). The funding, through the BSN Modal Kerja Line Facility under a musyarakah contract, is aimed at strengthening Pegadaian’s liquidity, expanding sharia financing and accelerating digital service integration between the two companies. The agreement was signed by Bank BSN President Director Alex Sofjan Noor and Pegadaian Finance and Strategic Planning Director Ferdian Timur Satyagraha. One planned integration is Pegadaian’s Tabungan Emas feature in Bank BSN’s Bale Syariah app. The two sides are also exploring the use of BSN accounts for transactions in the Tring! app. As of May 2026, Bank BSN had assets of Rp78,21 trillion, financing of Rp58,33 trillion and third-party funds of Rp61,15 trillion.
