Bandung Barat waives local tax penalties through Aug. 31, 2026
Taxpayers need only pay the principal on selected PBJT taxes, billboard, groundwater, mineral and PBB-P2 levies; BPHTB and vehicle surtaxes are excluded.
The Bandung Barat Regency government has waived administrative sanctions on local taxes through Aug. 31, 2026, allowing delinquent taxpayers to pay only the principal amount without fines, interest or increases. The program, which took effect on June 9, was prepared ahead of Bandung Barat Regency's 19th anniversary to encourage taxpayer compliance and boost local revenue. Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail said the policy covers Pajak Barang dan Jasa Tertentu on food and beverages, hotel services, parking, and arts and entertainment. The amnesty also applies to groundwater tax, advertisement tax, nonmetal and rock minerals tax, and PBB-P2. Pajak Barang dan Jasa Tertentu on electricity, BPHTB, PKB surtaxes and BBNKB surtaxes are not included. Acting head of Bappenda Bandung Barat Rina Marlina urged residents to use the limited period through the Public Service Mall at the regency office.
