Filling is capped at 20 liters for cars and 3 liters for motorcycles, while trucks may refuel only at night.

The Bali provincial government will impose an odd-even system on purchases of Pertalite fuel from Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, through Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles across Bali. The policy is being carried out under a letter from Bali Governor I Wayan Koster and supported by Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus. During the period, refueling is limited to a maximum of 20 liters for cars and 3 liters for motorcycles. Ambulances and fire trucks will get priority at gas stations, while trucks may refuel only at night. Pertamina is deploying 66 gas stations that will operate 24 hours, made up of 42 gas stations in Denpasar and 24 in Badung, backed by 100 personnel from Kodam IX/Udayana for night operators and Polda Bali escort for tanker distribution.
