IPC TPK container volume rises 7% to 1.82 million TEUs
Terminal Panjang posted the biggest gain at 17.4%, while June throughput jumped 11.5% from a year earlier.
PT IPC Terminal Petikemas recorded container volume of 1,817,738 TEUs in the first half of 2026, up 7 percent from 1,698,339 TEUs in the same period last year. The increase points to growth in logistics activity and domestic and international trade at terminals operated by the company. The biggest driver came from Terminal Panjang in Lampung, which grew 17.4 percent compared with the first half of 2025. Terminal Tanjung Priok rose 7.9 percent, while Terminal Pontianak increased 3.8 percent. On a monthly basis, IPC TPK throughput in June 2026 reached 325,017 TEUs, up 11.5 percent from 291,465 TEUs in June 2025. In that month, Terminal Panjang again posted the strongest growth at 73.7 percent, followed by Tanjung Priok at 10.8 percent and Palembang at 9.9 percent.
