Ariana Grande sues 2 hackers over leak of 45 songs in US

The Los Angeles case seeks to identify the suspects, who are accused of selling stolen material on the dark web.

Ariana Grande is suing two unidentified hackers in Los Angeles after dozens of unreleased songs, photos, and video and audio recordings leaked from the accounts of her collaborators. In court filings, Grande's legal team accused the defendants of hacking the accounts of a photographer and a producer who worked closely with her, then selling the personal data and content on the dark web for a large sum. The lawsuit says 45 unreleased songs were hacked, stolen and leaked during 2023. The filings also outline a pattern of hacking over several years, including access to master material, demos and recording-session documentation. Grande is pursuing legal action to uncover the perpetrators' identities and hold them accountable for privacy violations and theft of creative work.
