Ariana Grande has pulled out of the London revival of Sunday in the Park with George and will cut back on public appearances after the Eternal Sunshine tour ends on September 1. Her representatives said the decision came after sustained public scrutiny of her appearance and health. Empire Street Productions, which is preparing the 2027 staging at the Barbican, said it understood and supported the decision. Grande had been scheduled to appear alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey. Debate over Grande's appearance resurfaced after the release of the Petal album and its music video, which shows the singer's character facing sharp comments about her body and face.
