Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in Miami as UK seeks extradition
What's new: British prosecutors added rape, trafficking and child-pornography-related charges, raising the alleged victim count to seven.
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Miami on Friday as British prosecutors moved to extradite them to face additional criminal charges in the UK. The Crown Prosecution Service said Andrew Tate now faces seven further rape counts along with other allegations tied to sex trafficking and indecent images of a child. Tristan Tate was charged with sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. Prosecutors said the new case follows another file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police and brings the total number of alleged victims to seven. The brothers, dual British-US citizens, have denied wrongdoing.
