Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is scheduled to receive the first operation of Emirates' Airbus A380-800 on Aug. 8, 2026 at around 22:25 WIB for flight EK358 from Dubai to Jakarta. The aircraft will then return to Dubai as EK359 on Aug. 9, 2026 at 00:45 WIB. InJourney Airports said the A380 service will run only once and is not yet a regular schedule. According to the company, the special flight supports the preseason tour agenda for the match between Chelsea and AC Milan at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium. Soekarno-Hatta has prepared two runways measuring 3,660 x 60 meters and 3,600 x 60 meters, which meet ICAO Code F aircraft requirements, supported by parallel taxiways, aprons and terminal facilities for wide-body aircraft.
