Agrominafiber makes first export of woven decor to United States

Agrominafiber recorded its first export of home decor products made from woven materials to the United States in 2025, marking the UMKM's entry into the international market. One of its founders, Novita Hermawan, said the milestone was achieved through stronger branding, broader market access, and adjusted marketing strategies. Novita began developing the business through the Pertamina Foundation Womenpreneur Program in 2022. A year later, Agrominafiber joined as a Pertamina-supported UMKM and took part in a number of programs, including business matching, UMK Academy Go Online, Petrapreneur Aggregator 2025, and exhibitions such as INACRAFT, Trade Expo Indonesia 2025, INABUYER 2026, and SMEXPO Pertamina. According to Novita, product quality alone is not enough; a business must also build identity, consumer trust, and brand position to compete more broadly.
