After Czech GP, Bezzecchi still leads MotoGP 2026 standings
New: Marc Marquez rises to fourth after back-to-back wins in Hungary and Czech, now 40 points off the lead.
Marco Bezzecchi remains the provisional leader of the MotoGP 2026 standings after the Czech GP, even though the Aprilia Racing rider did not add to his tally while serving a ban in Brno. Bezzecchi has 180 points and holds a narrow lead over teammate Jorge Martin, who is second with 172 points. Fabio Di Giannantonio of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team is third with 157 points. The title fight tightened further after Marc Marquez of Ducati Lenovo moved up to fourth on the strength of back-to-back victories in the Hungarian GP and Czech GP. The defending champion now has 140 points. Behind him, Ai Ogura sits fifth with 134 points after finishing on the podium in the Czech GP.
