Residents of Ngedat hamlet, Ketro village, Grobogan, Central Java, are relying on a belik dug at the bottom of a dried-up river after three months of drought made access to clean water difficult. The water collected in the small hole is used for bathing, washing, supporting laundry services and giving livestock water. But for daily needs, including water carried home in gallons, residents still have to buy supplies.
