AC Milan extends Luka Modric contract through June 2027
The 40-year-old midfielder stays after 37 appearances and two goals as Milan finished fifth in Serie A last season.
AC Milan has extended Luka Modric's contract by one season through June 30, 2027. The 40-year-old Croatia midfielder joined the Rossoneri last season after leaving Real Madrid and will remain in place for the 2026/2027 campaign. In his debut season at San Siro, Modric made 37 appearances and scored two goals in all competitions. Milan said he provided an important influence in midfield, both on the field and in the dressing room. Milan finished fifth in Serie A last season. Modric, the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner, also recently appeared at the 2026 World Cup with Croatia, which was eliminated in the round of 32 after losing to Portugal.
