Five investors sued Selena Gomez over their roughly $1.2 million investment in Wondermind Global, the mental health company she co-founded with her mother Mandy Teefey and Daniella Pierson. The lawsuit alleges Gomez failed to meet commitments to help build the brand and that the company slid into financial distress while investors were kept in the dark. The complaint says Wondermind did not deliver on promised advertising deals, celebrity cover stories, partnerships and an app, and even struggled to pay employees and vendors on time. The investors, including Bausch + Lomb CEO Brent Saunders, are seeking to recover their investment plus costs and damages. The BBC said it contacted Wondermind and Gomez's representatives for comment.
