A 25-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a car on Seletar West Link in Singapore on Aug. 18, and police arrested the car driver. Police said the crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. on Seletar West Link toward the Central Expressway and involved a car and a motorcycle. The rider was taken unconscious to Sengkang General Hospital, where he later died. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said another person was assessed for minor injuries but declined hospital treatment. Police arrested a 57-year-old woman for careless driving causing death and said investigations are continuing. Video from the scene showed paramedics treating the rider while passers-by directed traffic around blocked lanes.
