2027 Hajj pilgrim list released, Kemenhaj verifies locally
The list is still being verified at regency and city level, prompting early preparation by officials and contact with pilgrims.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the list of Hajj pilgrims on the waiting list scheduled to depart in the 1448 H/2027 M pilgrimage season. Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak said the names are now entering verification at the regency and city level to speed up and strengthen preparations for the Hajj operation. He asked all Kemenhaj ASN, including regional offices and Hajj officers, to immediately build strong communication with pilgrims from an early stage. According to Dahnil, Kemenhaj should not function only like a travel agent, but must guide pilgrims throughout the worship process. He also linked the approach to the “Tri Sukses” concept, namely ritual success, economic success, and civilizational and ethical success. The remarks were delivered in Jakarta on Monday.
