2 Singaporeans arrested in Thailand in cross-border vice ring

What's new: Thai police seized more than 350,000 baht in assets, and Singapore linked the ring to 19 vice worker arrests.

Thai and Singapore police have broken up an alleged transnational vice syndicate accused of recruiting Thai women to work in Singapore, arresting two Singaporean men and two Thai women in Thailand. A fifth suspect, a Thai man, was later summoned to hear allegations against him. The Sept. 15 operation followed a joint investigation by the Singapore Police Force and the Royal Thai Police into a network tied to Telegram activity and, Thai media reported, a group known as Lover's Fortress. Thai authorities said they seized cash, bankbooks, bank cards, computers, phones and land documents worth more than 350,000 baht. Singapore police said anti-vice operations from October 2025 to September 2026 had already led to 19 arrests of vice workers managed by the ring.
