17-year-old girl hurt at *Scape football event; woman, 26, probed

A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital after an altercation during a small-sided football match at *Scape in Singapore on July 18, and a 26-year-old woman is assisting police investigations for voluntarily causing hurt. Police said they were called to 2 Orchard Link, *Scape’s address, at about 3:25 p.m. The teenager was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital conscious, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it conveyed one person there. A *Scape spokesperson said the clash involved two players during a World Cup-related football event. Staff, event officials and on-site security contained the situation, while medics gave first aid. The remaining matches later resumed as scheduled. Investigations are ongoing.
