133 PT Amos Indah workers’ layoffs mediated, severance raised
The company raised its workers’ compensation offer to 1 times the standard, up from 0.5, during mediation at KBN Cakung.
The Ministry of Manpower mediated a dispute over the layoffs of 133 workers at PT Amos Indah Indonesia in Kawasan Berikat Nusantara, Cakung, North Jakarta, after receiving an audience from Konfederasi Persatuan Buruh Indonesia on 4 June 2026. At the meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Manpower Minister Afriansyah Noor, the garment company increased its compensation offer to one times the applicable standard, from 0.5 times previously. The government urged the workers and the company to prioritize dialogue to reach an agreement. If mediation stalls, the dispute can proceed through industrial relations mechanisms under the rules. Kemnaker said it would continue to oversee the case and facilitate communication between the two sides.
