10 Transjakarta routes rerouted for Aug. 17 Jakarta events
Changes will hit morning and late-day service, with several stops near Monas, Balai Kota and Gambir left unserved.
PT Transportasi Jakarta will reroute 10 services on Aug. 17, 2026, as traffic is managed for the 81st anniversary of Indonesia's independence in Jakarta. The main changes will apply from 07.30-11.30 WIB and 16.30-23.00 WIB, although some routes will end at 22.00 WIB and others will start at 18.30 WIB. The areas most affected are stops around Monas, Balai Kota and Gambir. The modified routes include 1 Blok M-Kota, 2 Pulo Gadung-Monas, 3 Kalideres-Monas via Veteran, 1A Pantai Maju-Balai Kota, 2A Pulo Gadung-Rawa Buaya, 5C Cililitan-Juanda, 7F Kampung Rambutan-Juanda via Cempaka Putih, 14A Monas-Jakarta International Stadium, 5M Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang via Cikini and 9D Pasar Minggu-Tanah Abang. Transjakarta said all services will remain in operation.
