West Jakarta proposes 1,350 homes for BSPS repairs, 29 set
Each home gets Rp20 million in materials and labor, while 900 West Jakarta proposals have cleared initial administrative screening.
The West Jakarta city government has proposed 1,350 substandard homes for repairs under the Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance program, or BSPS. Of that total, about 900 homes have met the initial administrative requirements, while beneficiary verification is still under way. In Kalianyar village, Tambora, 49 homes were proposed in the first stage; 29 of them have passed verification, with 20 units set to begin in June 2026 and 9 units in July. During a site visit on Monday (15/6), Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian and Housing and Settlements Minister Maruarar Sirait urged broader support through the DKI Jakarta regional budget so the program can reach more people. BSPS aid is not given in cash but as building materials and carpenter wages worth a total of Rp20 million per home.
