RoBoKop vocalist reported to Polda Metro over 'takbir pose' photo

The report cites KUHP Articles 300 and 301, while the Threads post by Clareesya has since been deleted.

Polda Metro Jaya has received a report alleging a religious offense against Clareesya, the vocalist of Band RoBoKop, after a photo of a “takbir pose” appeared following a performance at the The Sounds Project music festival in North Jakarta. The report by Muhammad Dimas Saputra was registered under LP/B/5998/VIII/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA on 13 August 2026. Police said the case involves a social media post that was allegedly insulting to religion and is linked to Articles 300 and/or 301 of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the KUHP. The photo, which had been uploaded on the Threads account @clareesya, was later deleted. Clareesya has apologized and said the post was intended as an expression of gratitude after being given the chance to perform at the major music event.
