VinFast enters Indonesia's electric scooter market, rolls out 3 models
Buyers get one year of free battery swaps, up to 20 times a month, with subscription or outright purchase options.
VinFast entered Indonesia's electric scooter market with the launch of three models in Jakarta on Saturday (18/7): VinFast Evo, VinFast Feliz II and VinFast Viper. On-the-road Jakarta prices start at Rp17,5 juta for the Evo, Rp18,5 juta for the Feliz II and Rp22 juta for the Viper under a battery subscription scheme. The company also offers the scooters with the battery included. All three use BLDC in-wheel motors, with top speeds of 80 km per hour for the Evo and 90 km per hour for the Viper and Feliz II. Claimed ranges are 150 kilometers for the Evo and 145 kilometers for the Viper and Feliz II. During the launch period, consumers will receive one year of free battery swapping at V-GREEN stations, up to 20 times per month, along with a warranty of up to six years or 72 ribu kilometer.
