Veda Ega Pratama finishes fourth in Moto3 Qatar after 14th start
The Indonesian rider slipped to 15th early, then charged through the closing laps and missed the podium by a narrow margin.
Veda Ega Pratama finished fourth in the 2026 Moto3 Qatar GP at Lusail Circuit on Sunday night local time after starting from 14th. The Honda Team Asia rider even fell to 15th after the start, then gradually worked his way into the lead group and joined a tight battle in the closing stages. In the decisive laps, Veda passed Joel Kelso and Alvaro Carpe to move into fourth and hold that position to the finish line. The 16-lap race was won by Spain's David Almansa, followed by Adrian Fernandes and Maximo Quiles. Veda was dropped six places on the grid for ignoring a yellow flag during practice at Lusail, and his lap time from the violation was also deleted by FIM MotoGP stewards.
