The United States will let Iran's national team enter Seattle two days before its final World Cup group match against Egypt on June 26, easing a tighter rule that had limited the squad to arriving 24 hours before its first two games. The Department of Homeland Security said the team must still leave the same day the match ends and return to its base camp in Tijuana, Mexico. The change follows plans by the Iranian Football Federation to complain to FIFA over what it called unequal treatment. Coach Amir Ghalenoei and captain Mehdi Taremi said the travel rules had disrupted training and recovery during the tournament.
