Uriarte disqualified in Moto3 Catalunya, Veda rises to 4th
The penalty lifts Veda Ega Pratama to 67 points and back atop the rookie standings by 13 points.
The results of the 2026 Moto3 GP Catalunya were revised after Brian Uriarte was disqualified for a technical breach involving oil use that did not meet regulations. The penalty erased Uriarte's fourth-place finish in Catalunya on 17 May and cost him 13 points. As a result, Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama moved from eighth to seventh in that race, lifting his total to 67 points. The Honda Team Asia rider now sits fourth in the provisional 2026 Moto3 standings, while Uriarte drops to eighth with 54 points. The change also returns Veda to the top of the rookie standings. Moto3 next moves to Balaton Park Circuit, Hungary, on 5-7 June, while Uriarte can still appeal to FIM.
