UPH becomes Campus League’s third partner, backs home-away league

In 3 to 4 years, organizers aim to use a home-away format so campuses can build fan bases and revenue.

Universitas Pelita Harapan officially became the latest partner of Campus League after both sides signed a memorandum of understanding in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday, June 6. The partnership, signed by Campus League CEO Ryan Gozali and UPH Associate Vice President Andry M. Panjaitan, makes UPH the third campus to join after Universitas Islam Indonesia and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. For UPH, it is the first MoU in sports. Campus League sees campus collaboration as important to building a sustainable student sports ecosystem. Over the next three to four years, the organizer is targeting a home-away system so each campus takes turns hosting, strengthening alumni support, opening sponsorship opportunities, and selling team merchandise.
