Ukrainian drone strikes leave Crimea fuel stations short of gasoline

What's new: Kyiv said it critically damaged the Chonhar bridge, a key route feeding Russian-held Crimea from Kherson.

Fuel stations across Russian-held Crimea ran short of gasoline after renewed Ukrainian drone strikes disrupted supply routes into the peninsula. In Sevastopol, most stations had no fuel and rationing imposed in recent weeks was struggling to keep pace, while in Yevpatoriya drivers lined up at the only working station, according to Reuters witnesses. Russian-backed Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said fuel deliveries were delayed because trucks could not reach the city after attacks on supply lines. Ukraine has increasingly targeted road, rail and fuel infrastructure serving Crimea. Ukrainian commander Dmytro Filatov said Kyiv's forces hit the Chonhar bridge, causing critical damage and stopping traffic on a key connection with the occupied part of Kherson region.
