U.S. hit Iran for 10th night as Tehran struck Bahrain, Kuwait

The U.S. military carried out a 10th straight night of strikes on Iran late Monday, targeting command centers, air defenses, missile and drone launch sites, and maritime assets tied to attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. The bombardment followed another U.S. service member’s death and came after Iran hit targets in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, widening the conflict across the Gulf. State media in Iran reported strikes near Tabriz and in coastal areas including Jask, Sirik, Konarak and Chabahar. A tanker in the strait was struck by an unknown projectile, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency, while Brent crude traded above $88 a barrel and U.S. gasoline averaged about $4 a gallon.
