Two cable thieves arrested at Power House Pollux Cikarang

Cikarang Selatan Police arrested two men identified as N and S on suspicion of stealing cable worth Rp143.76 million at the Power House Pollux Cikarang area in Bekasi Regency, West Java. The two were detained on Thursday (9/7) at around 02:00 WIB after security officers caught them inside the building. The case came to light when a technician checked the building's electrical area and heard suspicious sounds. He then found pieces of cable on top of a panel and reported it to the security team. While searching the site, officers found a ladder near the wall separating the mall and the gas station. Police suspect the suspects entered through the cooling opening of the generator room. At the scene, police seized about 40 meters of FRC cable that had been cut, about 200 meters of severed cable, as well as pliers, a size 10 wrench, a cutter knife, a screwdriver and a test pen. Investigators are still examining the roles of the two suspects and the possible involvement of others.
