President Donald Trump said Friday the fight with Iran may continue and cast doubt on renewed nuclear talks, signaling no clear end to the conflict after a new round of US strikes. Speaking at a Cabinet meeting at Camp David, Trump said Iran would weaken over time but the United States had to keep its guard up. He also said he was losing faith in diplomacy, accusing Tehran of misrepresenting its negotiations with Washington. The remarks came two days after US forces struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets, including command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal defenses and maritime assets, according to US Central Command. The latest escalation has kept pressure on the White House as Iran continues missile and drone attacks and threatens commercial shipping.
