Trump claims Iran missile stockpile is down to 21-22 percent
The figure is higher than his May claim of 18 percent, as talks to end the war remain deadlocked.
U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Iran now has only about 21-22 percent of its missile stockpile left after months of war and strikes in the region. In a clip of an NBC News interview released Friday, Trump also said most of Iran's drone factories, launch pads and missile production facilities have been disabled. Even so, he said Tehran still has missiles and drones. The latest claim is up from Trump's May statement that Iran's missile stockpile was down to 18 percent.
