Trump aide Natalie Harp draws fresh scrutiny after viral Ossoff jab

What's new: Harp, 35, has become a key gatekeeper for Trump's messages, meetings and Truth Social posts inside the White House.

Natalie Harp, a longtime Donald Trump aide who has largely worked behind the scenes, has come under new public scrutiny after Sen. Jon Ossoff mentioned her in a speech that went viral this week. Harp serves as executive assistant to the president, but reports describe her role as far broader: she relays messages from allies, manages access to information, helps arrange meetings and types posts for Trump's Truth Social account. Harp, a California native and former One America News Network host, rose in Trump's orbit after crediting his Right to Try law with helping her obtain experimental treatment for bone cancer. Her proximity to Trump has also stirred tension inside the White House, where some staff have objected to her influence.
