Toyota adds phone-based car controls to Innova Zenix 2026
The feature is now limited to the Zenix Improvement 2026, along with an SOS button and proactive calls when the system detects problems.
PT Toyota-Astra Motor launched an update to the T Intouch with Toyota Remote connectivity service for the Kijang Innova Zenix Improvement 2026 in Jakarta on Wednesday. Through a smartphone app, owners can start the engine, adjust the AC temperature and lock the doors remotely, depending on the vehicle specification. The system also shows the status of the doors, windows, hood, lights, odometer, fuel level, fuel consumption, trip history, plus mileage and driving duration data. On the safety side, Toyota added Driver Monitor. For emergency assistance, E-Care, an In-Car SOS button and Proactive Agent Call are available, allowing Toyota Customer Care to contact customers when the system detects a problem with the vehicle.
