Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested in Wisconsin on Thursday after authorities accused him of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said Romo was pulled over around 6 p.m. local time and was taken into custody after performing poorly on field sobriety tests. He was released later that night and ordered to appear in court on Sept. 21. Local reports described it as a first alleged drunken-driving offense, which could bring a license suspension and a fine if he is convicted. Romo, 46, played for Dallas from 2003 to 2016 and has worked as a CBS game analyst since retiring in 2017.
