TNI conducts integrated 2026 drill, tests sea drone and 2 missiles
The Dabo Singkep simulation also featured the domestic AKM KI-50 kamikaze drone and a Marine landing.
TNI held the 2026 Integrated TNI Operational Exercise at Todak Beach, Dabo Singkep, Lingga Regency, Kepulauan Riau, on Wednesday (5/8). The exercise, titled Perisai Trisila Nusantara, demonstrated joint operations across the land, sea and air services in a modern combat scenario. In the simulation, TNI AL deployed a sea drone, or uncrewed surface vessel, to hit a target, while Korps Marinir personnel fired howitzer artillery. The drill also included the launch of two C-705 missiles from KRI Sampari-628, the use of the domestically made AKM KI-50 kamikaze drone, and the landing of Marine troops. Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin also watched the exercise at the site.
