DPR Hajj team seeks review of all Armuzna services

The team urged a broad review of facilities at Arafah, Muzdalifah and Mina, citing tents, buses, water, air conditioning and sanitation.

The DPR Hajj Monitoring Team called for a review of all services for Indonesian pilgrims in Arafah, Muzdalifah and Mina after finding a series of problems during the 2026 Hajj peak. Marwan Dasopang, chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR and a member of the team, said the review should cover buses, tents, bathroom capacity, food and drinking water. In Mina, the team still found pilgrims unable to fit into tents and forced to sleep outside. The team also noted that air conditioning was not working optimally and that water supplies were inadequate in some locations. Another DPR Hajj Monitoring Team member, Selly Andriany Gantina, said toilet sanitation in Mina was poor and tent capacity needed improvement. Even so, the DPR assessed this year’s Hajj operation as generally better than last year and still praised services in Madinah and Makkah.
