Taxi crash at Jewel Changi sends 60-year-old driver to hospital

A 60-year-old taxi driver was taken to Changi General Hospital after two taxis crashed near the taxi queue at Jewel Changi Airport around midnight on June 12. Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at 78 Airport Boulevard, the address of Jewel Changi Airport. The injured driver was conscious when he was taken to the hospital. A 72-year-old male taxi driver is assisting with police investigations. Video shared online showed two damaged ComfortDelGro taxis stopped along a basement ramp, with paramedics treating a person on the ground. ComfortDelGro said it was aware of the crash and that no passengers were on board either taxi.
