Suzuki brings 3 new XL7 variants to GIIAS 2026 in Tangerang
A brief test on the show track found the XL7 Hybrid focused more on comfort, efficiency and easy maneuvering in the city.
PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales brought three new XL7 variants to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang: XL7 New Zeta, XL7 New Beta Hybrid, and XL7 New Alpha Hybrid. At the event, which runs July 30-Aug. 9, Suzuki also opened a dedicated test-drive session for visitors. In a short test, the XL7 Alpha Hybrid delivered smooth initial acceleration thanks to the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki, or SHVS, system, especially when the vehicle moved again after stopping. The steering felt light for maneuvering in tight spaces, while speed bumps and uneven surfaces offered a glimpse of the suspension's ability to absorb vibrations. The cabin was also judged fairly quiet, supported by parking camera, cruise control, automatic AC and a 9-inch touchscreen.
