Super Micro projects up to $15.5 billion in quarterly sales

Super Micro Computer forecast September-quarter revenue of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, well above analysts' average estimate of $12 billion, signaling that heavy spending on AI infrastructure is still lifting demand for its servers. The San Jose, California, company said adjusted profit would be $1.01 to $1.10 a share for the quarter. It also projected fiscal-year revenue of $65 billion to $72 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $54.4 billion. Shares rose about 9% in extended trading. For the quarter ended June 30, Super Micro reported revenue of $11.1 billion, up 93% from a year earlier, while adjusted gross margin was 17.6%.
