Sumedang Deputy Regent Fajar Aldila is tracing the source of allegations that he assaulted and sexually harassed his personal secretary. He called the claims circulating on social media a slander and said he could pursue legal action if there are grounds for defamation. The allegation refers to an alleged incident on 17 August 2026 and was accompanied by claims that the victim had reported the case to Polda Jawa Barat. But the personal secretary, identified as R, rejected that account. R said there was no assault, confinement or harassment, and urged the public not to spread unconfirmed rumors. The case surfaced amid social media posts alleging the involvement of multiple parties.
