The wave of student protests spread to several cities on Monday, June 15, 2026, with Jakarta putting 5,955 security personnel on alert. Jakarta Central Police recorded at least four protest sites, including Patung Kuda Arjuna Wijaya, in front of the DPR/MPR/DPD complex and Jalan Kwitang Raya. In Bandung, student groups from BEM Universitas Widyatama, BEM Universitas Pasundan, Aliansi BEM Nusantara and Dema UIN Sunan Gunung Djati rallied at the West Java DPRD and the West Java office of Bank Indonesia. In Makassar, students from UIN Alauddin protested under the flyover on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo and Jalan AP Pettarani while blocking traffic. The demands in various cities included an evaluation of the free nutritious meal program, a review of the Polri law, rupiah stability, BBM prices, education spending, and efficiency in the cabinet and bureaucracy budget.
