Singapore raids net 5.5 kg of cannabis; 3 men arrested

Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau arrested three men in raids on July 27 and seized drugs worth more than S$142,000, including about 5.52 kg of cannabis. The suspects, all Singaporeans aged 27, 29 and 34, include two men investigated for trafficking and one for drug abuse. Officers first detained the 34-year-old near Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4, then recovered 879g of cannabis, about 123g of methamphetamine, known as Ice, and four LSD stamps from him and a nearby unit. A second raid near Pasir Ris Street 11 led to the arrest of a 29-year-old and the seizure of 4,641g of cannabis and 145g of ketamine. A 27-year-old was later arrested near Jalan Bukit Ho Swee, where 9g of Ice was found. Investigations are ongoing.
