Singapore police probe egg-smearing of bike tied to viral crash

What's new: investigators are also examining the June 5 collision after a 28-year-old rider was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Singapore police are investigating the vandalism of a parked motorcycle in Yishun after videos showed it covered in smashed raw eggs, white powder and liquid, with broken eggs pushed into the exhaust pipe. The red motorcycle appeared to be the same one seen in a viral June 5 crash on Sembawang Road toward Upper Thomson Road. In dashcam footage, the bike moved into the left lane, made contact with another motorcycle and kept going after the other rider fell. Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted at about 6.55 a.m., and a 28-year-old man was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Investigations into both the vandalism report and the earlier traffic accident are ongoing.
