Singapore police hunt driver after car skids onto Sengkang pavement

Singapore police are trying to find the driver of a car that skidded onto a pavement in Sengkang on Thursday night and was abandoned before officers arrived. Police said they were alerted at 9.35 p.m. to the crash along Sengkang East Drive toward Upper Serangoon Road. The vehicle is believed to have self-skidded. Photos shared in a motorists' Telegram group showed a white car on a grassy verge beside a pedestrian path with the driver's door open, while Traffic Police officers stood nearby. Police said no injuries were reported and that investigations are continuing.
