What's new: Two passengers from the car were hospitalized after the 2:45 a.m. crash, while the van driver suffered minor injuries.

Singapore police are trying to find a 44-year-old driver who fled after a crash involving a car and a van in Punggol early July 8. Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted at about 2:45 a.m. to the collision at Block 122A Edgedale Plains. Two passengers in the car, ages 36 and 39, were taken conscious to Changi General Hospital. The van driver, a 30-year-old man, had minor injuries and refused hospital treatment. Images and video circulating online showed a dark-colored car with heavy front-end damage, debris across the road and a nearby tree split, while a Lalamove van appeared damaged at the rear and mounted a curb. Police said investigations are ongoing.
