What's new: Video showed the suspect grappling with another driver on the expressway shoulder before throwing an object off the viaduct.

Singapore police arrested a 29-year-old man for driving under the influence of drugs after a two-car crash on the Bukit Timah Expressway on Aug. 25. Police said they were alerted at about 5:35 p.m. to the accident, which involved two cars on the BKE. No injuries were reported, though the Singapore Civil Defence Force said one person was assessed for minor injuries and declined hospital transport. Videos posted on TikTok showed two men struggling near the guard rails along the viaduct, with one appearing to restrain the other before an object was thrown off the bridge. The footage and captions linked the crash to a black Mazda and a white Mercedes. Police said investigations are ongoing.
